Childhood Historian & Digital Archivist
Safe Children. Safe Society.
Who I am & where I come from
Research is my calling. I am deeply passionate about Childhood History and digital humanities, dedicated to making a meaningful impact in this field.
I always look for ways to combine my love for technology with my passion for research — preserving and making accessible underrepresented historical narratives, particularly focusing on children's experiences and family histories.
My work bridges history, archival science, and public history, preserving hidden stories through digital tools and interdisciplinary methods.
I am working on a dissertation that examines how children have exercised their agency in a system that is designed to suppress it. I will be looking at how American law has constructed children as a legal and constitutional category across the twentieth century, tracing how three competing frameworks — the child as parental property, as ward of the state, and as independent rights-bearer — have shaped the social and cultural identity of children in America. This research project is grounded in American legal history from approximately 1920 to late 20th century.
“There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
